Overcoming Obstacles

Life does not always run smoothly, and confronts us frequently with stresses, problems and challenges. Yoga offers a system to help us deal with these obstacles not only through the physical practice of asana but also through its philosophical underpinning.

In this workshop you will learn about the nine obstacles described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as well investigate how these link to current therapeutic approaches. You will also be guided through a nurturing asana sequence, breathing and relaxation techniques, and a relaxing visualisation to recharge your inner resources and strengthen body, mind and soul.
