How to practice yoga online from home
My online classes are set at a general level to make them accessible to as many people as possible. The classes are being taught via Zoom. It’s best to download the Zoom App (it’s free). Before practising, make sure your device is fully charged.
To be able to join the class, you will need a link which will be sent to you once you have booked onto the class. Make sure you are in a quiet place, ideally on a yoga mat with props at hand, if you have any. A cotton blanket can be really useful as substitute for a block to sit on and to keep warm during relaxation.
Please access the class 5-10 minutes in advance to make sure everything works, say Hello, and settle. Classes will start promptly. You have the option to switch your screen on and off (in which case I can’t see you, nor other members). Once the class starts I will mute everybody to avoid distracting background noise. I will unmute everybody at the end so that we can say Namaste and Good Bye together.
Don’t practice if you feel unwell, have an injury, are recovering from an operation, or are recovering from Covid-19. Always follow your doctor’s advice about exercising.
Please note that by taking part in the online class you accept responsibility and liablility for for your wellbeing and that you are participating at your own risk.
